Fund Transactions
Beyond what customers (patients) pay, funds move for other reasons: banking the cash at the end of the day, drawing cash for payroll, moving money between two funds. Fund transactions record those.

| Area | What it is |
|---|---|
| 1. Cash fund | The fund the movement belongs to. |
| 2. Type | In or out — money entering or leaving the fund. |
| 3. Amount and Date | How much, and when. |
| 4. Create | Write the transaction to the book. |
The Content box below is for the reason: "end-of-day cash banked to VCB", "drawn for payroll". The table lists what has been recorded, by Date, Cash fund, Type, Amount and Content.
When you enter something here by hand
Most fund movements create themselves from receipt and payment vouchers. This screen is for the times money changes place without a customer involved:
- Banking the cash box at the end of the day.
- Drawing money from the bank into the cash box for spending.
- Moving money between two branches' funds.
Bank the cash without recording it and the box looks short in the software while the account looks over — both funds then fail reconciliation. Recording it at the time is the whole fix.
