Add a Label

A label is a short keyword you stick on a customer profile to remember and to filter: "Afraid of pain", "VIP", "Waiting for follow-up", "Cancels often". The software does not ship any labels — each clinic invents its own.

Adding a label

Open the customer (patient) profile. In the left column of the Info tab there is an Add tag... box just under the four coloured boxes.

  1. Click Add tag... and type the keyword.
  2. Click the green + on the left (or press Enter).
  3. The label appears as a small chip below.

To remove one, click the ✕ on the label itself. Removing a label changes nothing else in the profile.

Keep labels short and consistent across the clinic

"VIP", "Afraid of pain", "Insurance pending" — one idea each, spelled the same way everywhere. If one person types "vip", another "VIP" and a third "V.I.P", filtering later returns three separate groups and the labels are worthless.

What labels are for

  • Warning the next shift — the profile shows "Allergic to anaesthetic" without anyone reading through every note.
  • Filtering the customer list — in CRM › Customer Management, filter to pull out everyone with a label.
  • Grouping after-care — filter by label, then plan care for the whole group.
Label versus note

A label is a keyword for filtering and grouping — short, repeated across customers (patients). A note is the detailed story of one customer and cannot be filtered. Long information belongs in a note, not in a label name.

Avoid judgemental labels

Labels are visible to every colleague with access to the profile, and customers (patients) can easily see the screen at the desk. Before typing "Difficult customer (patient)", picture them reading it.
