Salary and Commission Periods
With plans defined and people assigned, one click of Calculate period each month runs every plan against the period's real data and produces each person's commission.

| Area | What it does |
|---|---|
| 1. Month picker | The period to calculate. |
| 2. Calculate period | Runs the calculation. |
| 3. Status | Calculated, approved… |
The table holds Month, Calculated at, Status and Approved at — which periods have run, when, and who approved them.
Reading a period's result
Open a calculated period and each person's figure comes with three levels of detail:
| Level | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Component breakdown | How much each component of the plan contributed. |
| Tier detail | For tiered commission: which tiers the revenue fell into and what each produced. |
| KPI criteria detail | For KPI components: how far each criterion was met, and its weight. |
This answers the hardest question of every pay run — "why is my commission this much?" — by opening the person and expanding the layers.
Calculate once the month's data is closed
A commission period reads the month's revenue. Running it while the month is still moving gives incomplete figures; wait until it is settled and run it once.
